"Tracks Revival" is an overstatement, as it's very unlikely there ever in Polk County will be a weekly Tracks TV show again.  But on a much smaller scale there can be videos inspired by those first 19 years.     These first three and two others in a Bible story section were created in the first two months of sponsoring a small video club.  It is hoped there will be other projects here from the teacher and, most importantly, from the students.

The most exciting project is NOT 1) a story of a recreational sport using titles, a stand-up, and  voice-over

(like here on pickleball at Reuter's Y in Arden); 2) a story using a stand-up,    five objects    in a room    showing  dramatic composition, and a voice-over; 3) a story of a young person that has an interview, a stand-up, interesting composition, and voice-over (like my son at UNC-C).

Noooooo, the most exciting project for this video club at PC Early College in spring semester of 2025 just may be the "Moving of the Coach" event where two historical museums merge in downtown Columbus, N.C.  If that video becomes reality, it will be shown after this message below.

So, Where Is This All  Headed?

(From the Teacher):     I will never teach another video class.  But this club is giving me the opportunity to keep my hand in a past passion of mine.  I've readily taken up the camera and video-editing and see the need to make video at least an element in the class I am now most passionate about, Public Speaking/Com 231.  I taught a dozen of these college public speaking classes until 2022 as an adjunct instructor at BRCC.   I hope in Polk I may teach that course again.  Why include video?  Because of elements that so strongly reinforce public speaking:  stand-ups, voice-over, interviewing, acting, and visualization in storytelling.
