The Tracks TV show, from its start in 1995 to 2013 and BEYOND, is reflected in these pages
Koolaid Spoof
Koolaid Spoof
#6
1- Attendants for Homecoming 2006: this year was an elaborate Cinderella story, with attendants introduced at an assembly.
2- Classic Chris's Captain Planet: If you were not a fan in your childhood, revisit that childhood with this rousing rendition.
3- Dancing Circa 2005 & PCHS Cadets Color Guard: the dancing is from a Talent Show and the Color Guard has a one-member demonstration of the steps of precision before the motions are shown in the Cadet’s performance at a football game.
4- Miller & Powell Announcers Spoof: This announcers, with help from Adviser Mrs. White, concocted this live spoof
during advocate period for all to see and hear of the two top
administrators at the school, complete with a musical score
5- Classic News Team Lead-in (1:37) This was a striking lead-in to the Tracks News Show orchestrated by Brady, a Tracks student, using the news team cast.
6- Koolaid Extraordinaire: This takes the script and VO of Dane Cook and the edit and art of Tyler to show off an interesting,(non-) children’s drink.
7- AFS Duel Classic Chris Weitzen's Tea Time 2003: This has a decidedly Asian flavor, originating from Thailand and Japan. The AFS students are interviewed after the bout with a saber from who knows where.
8– 2004 Prom: this is the traditional prom off-campus with dances and crowning of king and queen

9- Bird Animation and Titanic: Jonas Wilmart was an AFS student that left his mark on a white board at the ARC. Duck Hunting will never be the same. The Titanic Spoof with Duct Tape took hundreds of shots in Photoshop by Matthew Buie; unlike the Titanic story, it has a happy ending.
10- Principal & Superintendent upcoming Miller is featured in a story by David Sierk. Unlike most students, David preferred producing a news story over a drama and excelled at the medium.
11- Lady's Varsity B-ball, 2007 This probes with interviews the motivations of basketball fans and players.
12- Insta- Pass & Multi-purpose Stapler Commercials at ARC, from Austin Kempton. This touts an invention that students would like to make use of and a standard item with nonstandard uses.
Austin and AFS Student Jonas both exceeded their earlier achievements with video on the main campus by coming over to ARC, the academic recovery center, over the teacher’s lunchbreak for a semester to share their talents with ARC students and the whole school. Jonas was born in Austria but in 2013 he was living in Montreal, which is also French-speaking, and continued computer animation work.
13- Green Screen, 2005: Unfortunately, few announcers are also producers. Brady excelled at both and did this review on technology.
14- Classic Snow & Teacher Conspiracy: Austin made the most of snow still on the ground to either concoct a theory or investigate the truth.
15- The Gum Ban, 2007 This spoof came some five years before the reporting of the 2011 page , story#19, on gum bans. It has a gangsta sort of influence. Ricky was anxious to catch the wrongdoer and Kyle was just as determined not to get caught.
16- Classic Stills of Books and Notes: Two stories are told here with photos and music. At the conclusion, a bully and a two-timer get a make-over.
17- Jealousy and Shyness in 2003: What happens when a wrestling dummy dares to outbowl Student Body President Benton? Then there’s All Choked Up: This has conversation and music and a flashback that shows well a student's nervousness in asking a girl out.
18– This is a mini-movie on Gossip shot from various locations at the school using an extensive cast of characters and an unexpected ending. It was shot in three parts to show three perspectives of an event blown out of proportion in the rumor mill.
19- 2003 Track by Sierk: The Cross Country story has the same great coach but another reporter on the VO page. David Sierk was a Tracks Wall of Famer that took his only class of digital media his last semester and never had a case of senioritis.
20- Into the Woods Commercial: The director of this segment was an aspiring filmmaker whose works ran the gamut from humor to deep melancholy. This piece captured well a play's cast, and it lives on far past the closing curtain.
21- Dent Remover Commercial, 2003: Benton, the student body president, got student approval to make his demonstrations of his product's effectiveness.
22- Mr. Barber Announces Farm Plans, 2004: This has the talent show announcement that Barber made to kick off the fundraising. Some of the farm's benefits are shown as cutaways as he dreams of the future.
23- Student Body Presidents, 2004 Adam Cantrell: This candidate gave a rousing speech unlike any students had heard before. He was awarded a winning vote which says a lot about the power of public speaking.
24- Pencil Disintegration: This was Justin Jenning's first project as a freshman. He was to just use still photos and add audio of a voice-over or music. This was a masterful show of creativity in 2007. His art continued with The Terminator in a later year.
Mr. Greene was first spotted by Tracks in 1994
when it was a newspaper and he was a math teacher.
He was always the epitome of "Cool."
He was not just a strong supporter of Tracks as principal.
HIs appearance in an episode was a guarantee of high viewership.
So, you'll see lots of him on the 2007-10 pages and even the start of the 2011
when he moved on to Central Office for grooming to be the next superintendent.
When he said, "Love you, guys," you believed.
